Anderson Strathearn was reappointed as Legal Counsel for Crown Estate Scotland in 2021 and has led the latter on a number of issues within the ScotWind Leasing process such as consent, process structure, procurement and competition, bidding and project documentation.
Delivery of 17 option agreements was completed in less than three months, with experts from across the firm involved in the project, he added, in the areas of clean energy, maritime property, planning, procurement, antitrust, litigation and corporate law.

The firm, which recently announced a partnership with business angel association Linc Scotland, also said that Crown Estate Scotland is a public corporation that “invests in property, natural resources and people to create lasting value for Scotland” by managing the seabed, coastal line, rural estates and more, helping businesses and communities benefit from their assets.
