Ashley Kane’s former co-star Safia shared an emotional clip of her daughter Azalea ahead of the first anniversary of her death.
The little one tragically passed away at the age of eight months on April 24 last year after battling a rare form of leukemia.

A gorgeous little girl tragically died last April.
Her parents, now separated, continue to visit her grave daily and keep her memory alive.
And nothing changed over the weekend, as Safiya remembered their first and only Easter together.
Sharing a touching video of a little girl’s Easter egg in the hospital, she wrote: “Last year was the best Easter of my life, even though it was the most tragic time of our lives.
“I made sure my baby had an Easter that we remembered 🐣 we created memories and she enjoyed it to the fullest, I wanted her to taste chocolate and smile and have fun and she did just that!

“It was hard to retrieve all these memories, I cried and smiled and cherished my time on earth as a family, next week it will be a year since Azailia died and went to heaven 👼 and knowing that we made every moment precious and special, fills my life. a heart. We have memories that will last a lifetime.”
The heartbroken mother added, “Happy Easter in heaven, today is a child’s special day with all the kids 👼 eat as many eggs as you want 😘 mommy loves you 😘.”
Azalea was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia when she was eight weeks old.
While her life was brutally cut short, the baby’s diagnosis and subsequent fundraising attracted worldwide attention and in just a few days a staggering £1.6 million was raised in her name.
The couple have said they will continue to raise funds to help other families whose children have cancer and have already raised thousands for Azalea Foundation.
