Teaching:

Workshops and lecture/demos for the University level & beyond:

Tim has been a guest speaker at institutions including Stanford University, Brown University, Oberlin College, The American Press Institute, and The Royal College of Art, London. With a baccalaureate in medieval Islamic and Judaic religious studies, and substantial experience as a performer, he brings a compelling set of skillsets to bear on his work in university-level education. Arts-education for youth:

Tim is currently a resident artist with Oakland's Precott Clowns, and teaches regularly for schools including Berkely High & The JCHSF of San Francisco.  An experienced teacher and youth advocate, he has worked with multicultural youth from the elementary to high school level, in workshops and residences stretching from 1 day to three months.  He teaches classes in theatre, juggling, beatboxing, and hip-hop. Flute lessons:

Tim gives individual and group lessons for flute, flute-beatboxing, and beatboxing. All ages. Subjects include:beat-boxing with the flute, rudiments, experimental technique, & live electronics for flute. For more info on rates and availability, please contact Tim.
