RACEGORS let their hair down when they partyed at the Grand National for the first time in two years.
Prosecco was flowing as revelers returned to Liverpool’s Aintree Racecourse for the world-famous meeting that was canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to Covid.
And while the day may have started off with glamor and class, by evening the guests were ready to take off their painful high heels and loosen their ties.
Racing fans celebrated big wins or drowned in grief after betting on the wrong horse.
One man was seen sprawled on his back on the floor of the bar, and a laughing friend took a picture of him.
The two blondes made some very enthusiastic figures on the makeshift dance floor.


Meanwhile, a reveler in a suit and boots gleefully jumped on her friend as the festivities continued.
Princess Anne was among the racers who seemed delighted to be back at the racetrack today.
Unfortunately, she didn’t make any guest appearances at any of the wild and drunken parties.
The Princess Royal prepared for the unfavorable forecast by wearing a green jacket and a burgundy hat for the occasion.

The temperature reached only 10 degrees, gusty winds and light rain were blowing.

Met Office forecasters say it will be mostly sunny tomorrow, with a high of 9C, though rain will return in the afternoon.
Saturday will also be bright, rain is not expected at the big race.
