Aaron Simpson of Leo Island has revealed that since being on the ITV 2 reality show, Mary Bedford has haunted him because he mourns the tragic death of his grandmother.
The 24-year-old footballer is heartbroken after ignoring the impressive messages of the blonde and confirming their separation in an Instagram question and answer session.
This came after Mary’s revelation when she was in Majorcan Villa and was taking some time to mourn.
Aaron, a former winger for Sutton United, said: “I spoke to Mary on the phone when we were isolated after the show and put all our cards on the table. I told her I loved her. I like and I’m not interested in meeting anyone else and there was no pressure, but his head is not in the right place.
“I know right now that he needs to be with his family.
“The thing for me is that I’ve been trying to reach him ever since and see what he’s like, and we haven’t talked. The future does not see with me and I only know.
“It was hard to see his Instagram story the other day because he told me so much more.
“It would be nice to talk - when I like someone I want to make sure they’re okay. It’s been hard to stop - I want to be with them.
“It’s as strange, difficult and difficult as my emotions.”
Speaking at a wedding launch party for first-party Amy Christophers at East London’s Yaz Restaurant on Thursday, Aaron lamented his relationship with Mary, a 26-year-old cousin of Kaz Kamwei, in a hot on-screen lineup.
He said: “Cause and I discussed the relevance of the relationship. I fought for it and now there is nothing.
“There’s an ugly stain around being a footballer - so I ask everyone. I’ll talk to some of the boys on the island of love for the rest of my life.”
Aaron, who is focusing on personal training, added: “I’m not sorry about the show.”
Participating in an Instagram Q&A, Maryam, who was abducted in Manchester last weekend, asked a fan: ‘Why did you and Aaron separate?’
He replied: “Coming out of the villa and hearing the news about my grandmother completely threw me off. I never lost anyone close to me so it was really hard to be honest.
“The result is that my head is all over the place, and all I knew was that I wanted to return home to my loved ones.”
He added: “Aaron is an amazing person who has helped us with everything since we left the show but there is no pressure on us right now.”
