MAISIE Smith may have moved out of Walford, but her mom Julie replaces her shoes in Albert Square.
Photos of the mother-of-two as an extra on EastEnders surfaced this week, and fans quickly noticed the resemblance between the two redheads.
Julie was filmed in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, appearing in the background of scenes featuring Jean Slater, played by Gillian Wright, who was pictured in a wedding dress.
Maisie joined the soap as Tiffany Butcher when she was just six years old in 2008. She left after 13 years and appeared on Strictly in 2020 as well as the live tour that followed.
Most recently, she was exposed during The Masked Singer’s live tour in which she wore a blue dinosaur costume.
Maisie and her mom aren’t the only relatives to appear on the same show. Here we look at other family dramas.

Hannah Waterman and Patricia Maynard
Hannah, the daughter of Minder star Dennis Waterman, starred in EastEnders in the Noughties as Laura Beal, Ian Beal’s third wife.
She started in 2000 as a babysitter for his twins Peter and Lucy before falling in love with the hapless chippy owner.
Her character died in 2004 after rowing with Janine Butcher, tripping over a toy and breaking his neck.
Hanna’s mom Patricia played Laura’s mom, Edwina, in two episodes in May 2001.
Patricia also appeared in the films Catastrophe, Emmerdale, The Master, Corrie, Holby City and others.
Hannah’s stepmother is another famous actor (and Corrie star) Rula Lenska, known for her feline role playing with George Galloway on Celebrity Big Brother.
Rula played Audrey Roberts’ girlfriend and Ken Barlow’s love interest, the cheeky Claudia Colby, on the street until 2021.
Jacqueline Jossa and Megan Jossa
Jacqueline, 29, played the brash Lauren Branning from 2010 - when she was 18 - until 2018. She also had her own internet series, Lauren’s Diaries.
In 2019, Jacques was crowned as the Queen of the Jungle after being a huge hit with viewers of “I’m a Celebrity”.
The mother of two is married to TOWIE star Dan Osbourne.
Her cousin, Megan Jossa, did make her mark on Albert Square before Jack did.
In 2006, she played Tiffany and Grant Mitchell’s daughter, Courtney.
Megan was 11 at the time. Her character moved to Portugal with Grant, but when she reappeared in 2016, she was played by a different actress.
Amy Walsh and Sally Walsh
New mom Amy Walsh started playing Tracey Metcalfe - now Tracey Shankly - on Emmerdale in 2014.
She left earlier this year when her character, who had a touching storyline about postpartum depression, left for work in Nottingham.
As the family hails from Bradford, West Yorkshire, it’s just a short walk down the road to the Emmerdale set.
Her sister Sally Walsh starred in the series Yorkshire from 1997 to 2000, playing Marlon Dingle’s girlfriend Lyn Hutchinson.
She then appeared in Corrie and played the midwife who gave birth to son Sinead Tinker Bertie.
The couple has an even more famous sister, Girls Aloud singer Kimberly Walsh.
Rebecca Ryan and Jack James Ryan
These siblings appear together on Coronation Street playing bad boy Jacob Hay and Lydia Chambers.
Rebecca said the rest of the cast had no idea at first that her brother was already part of the Weatherfield team, despite their social media being filled with photos of them together.
She said, “When I joined, I would talk to people and say, ‘Oh yes, my brother works here.’ They said, “Really, who is your brother? Which? Jack!’
“It’s a dream come true to be working on a series at the same time.”
Rebecca has been acting since the age of 11 and is best known for her role as Debbie Gallagher on the Channel 4 series Shameless.
Jack said of his sister joining him on the cobbles, “I was so buzzing. She was my biggest inspiration as a child. I’m incredibly biased, but I think she’s an amazing actress.”
Richard Flishman and Sue Jenkins
Remember Corrie’s first goth, Craig Harris?
He was played by Richard Fleishman, now 32, who went on to become a pop star, winning both Celebrity Stars in Their Eyes and Soap Star Superstar and even supporting Elton John on tour.
He then moved on to West End theater, starring in Ghost: The Musical and Piss City, and now starring in Legally Blonde.
Richard is currently appearing in gold shorts in the new ITV2 drama Deep Heat.
His mother, Sue Jenkins, is a stalwart British TV presenter and appeared on the pavement between 1985 and 1988 as barmaid Gloria Todd.
In fact, Sue was pregnant with Richard when she lived in Corry.
Richard’s father is Sue’s husband, David is also an actor who recently starred in the Channel 5 series The Teacher.
Brooke Vincent and Ellie Leach
Brooke, 29, has become a household name for playing Coronation Street’s Sophie Webster for 15 years.
She left Weatherfield in 2019 to become a full-time mom to her sons, Mex, two, and Monroe, 11 months.
Her cousin Ellie Leach, 21, joined her on the show in 2009, playing Faye Windass.
Ellie said it’s a great comfort that the cast already has a best friend to help her figure it out.
She said: “She has always looked after me, in life and at work. She always said, “If you ever get in trouble, you can always come and talk to me.”
Greg Wood and Matt Milburn
Greg Wood, 42, joined Corry in 2019, playing nasty loan shark Rick Nealan.
He has since followed fellow Corry star Michelle Keegan in the Sky comedy, Brassic.
His brother Matt Milburn has also appeared in the soap since 2016 playing Weatherfield County footballer Tommy Oprington, who regularly visits the cobblestones as a local celebrity.
He was part of a 2019 storyline to help Jack Webster deal with his disability - and again when Jack fell ill with sepsis.
And this isn’t the first time Manchester-born siblings have appeared on the same show; they were also in Hollyoaks.
Matt played student Joe Spencer from 2003 to 2006 when his character died in a pub fire.
Greg played gangster Trevor Royle, who was stabbed to death on his wedding day in 2016.
Matt was also in Emmerdale and Greg showed up in Brookside.
Sally Ann Matthews and Amanda Barry
The couple shared a screen in the 1980s without realizing they were actually connected!
Sally Ann, 51, played Rovers landlady Jenny Bradley, and screen icon Amanda played Alma Baldwin from 1981 to 2001.
In fact, it was through the 2018 ITV documentary special Coronation Street DNA Secrets that they found out they were cousins.
Some of the actors have passed DNA tests and Ancestry.com has figured out their heritage.
Sally said: “Waiting for my cousin Corrie to come around the corner was torture – I prayed it would be someone I liked! The joy when I saw it was Amanda was overwhelming.

“I think we share a rebellious, slightly nutty streak.”
Amanda, 86, joked: “I’m so happy about DNA - now I’m so old that you can have extra organs.”
