A WOMAN got her head stuck in the couch and had to be lifted by her feet after a prosecco dinner ended in disaster.
Lindsey Clark, 40, was celebrating her friend Julie Jackson’s birthday when she was wedged upside down at a restaurant in North Shields, North Tyneside.
A 40-year-old woman tried to find her friend’s jacket, which fell behind furniture, but unfortunately lost her balance.
Lindsey was then caught on camera with her legs dangling in the air while two young TwelveTwentyFive employees tugged at her shins to free her.
Speaking of the slip, she said, “I reached out to grab my friend’s jacket and it slid further towards the floor and I moved with it until I got stuck in the hole.
“I had to ask two employees to get me out. I couldn’t push myself out of my position.
“Maybe I would be fine if I was a little leaner, but I’m stuck.
“Of course my friends were there to film it.
“Bar shared this on his Facebook page so they couldn’t think it was that bad.
“I have bruises on my chest and stomach where I got stuck and scratches on my legs because the back of the sofa was made of wood.

Support worker Julie from Newcastle said: “We were celebrating my birthday.
“We drank all kinds, but a lot of prosecco.
“My friend’s jacket fell behind the sofa, so Lindsey reached for it and fell behind the sofa.
“She was stuck for a total of about ten minutes.
“All the staff were nice, they could joke about it, but they were very nice.
“This is not a birthday that I will forget.”
Julie shared the hilarious video on her Facebook page, where it got over 2,000 likes.

She said: “I did not expect such a reaction. Lindsey finds it funny, it’s just laughter.
“She always wanted to be famous, although I don’t think she expected it.”
