Upcoming Shows

Hi Folks-

I've been on a brief hiatus to woodshed, and spend some time training, researching, and trying not to hyperventilate quite so much. In the interim, I've been hired as the new Artistic Director of City Circus, and have continued my beatbox and clowning residency at Lockwood Elementary. Also, for some reason known only to them, the nice folks at the Gerbode Foundation have seen fit to award SF Playhouse and myself a $50,000 comission to write a circus and hip-hop based play about cops, junkies, strippers, and puppets. "Track in a Box" premieres in 2008, featuring SF Playhouse, EDT, and the Vau De Vire Society. Go figure.

Everyday Theatre (EDT) is going through some scheduled down-time to regroup, and we'll be back up just as soon as we figure out the most elegant plan for insurrection against the current regime. In short, down with King George II and all his court. And in the meantime, here's some upcoming shows:

Sat. March 3rd- Purim Celebration at Bruno's, 389 Mission, 9pm, $10

Sat. March 10th- Dustfish, "We will Bury You", 20th & Mandela, Oakland, 10pm-late, $10-15

Fri. March 16th- Acrosports' Cabaret, 657 Frederick (at Stanyan), 7pm

Sat. March 17th- Vau De Vire Society's Bohemian Carnival, DNA Loungue, 375 11th, 10pm-late, $15

Sun. March 25th- Purim Celebration at the Palo Alto JCC, 5pm

Sat. May 5th- Africa Burns (more info to come)

June 15th-July 1st- City Circus presents "I Hate You, a Love Story" at the Brava Center for The Performing Arts, 24th and Potrero, 7pm Fri & Sat., 2pm Sat. & Sun., $10-35.
